FAQs

I’m a land flipper. How does this work?

You want to raise money to buy a property for immediate resale. Post your property / opportunity by filling out the form under “Post Your Land.”
You can check out the TRAINING VIDEOS HERE.

DO YOU HAVE TO BE A LAND ACADEMY MEMBER TO USE LANDTANK.COM?

Anyone has the ability to view available or partnered postings on LandTank.com, but only Land Academy members may register for access to post their land or contact the posting sponsors to fund their opportunity. Members can also see all of the property details provided by the posting sponsors. Non-members can see all property details except for the APN, legal description, property address and the posting sponsor’s contact info. To become a Land Academy member, CLICK HERE.

Why does my posting say “Ended/Expired”?

Postings will expire (i.e. no longer be available to partner) based on the date you enter when creating the posting. The date indicates the last day to submit a request to partner/fund a posting. If you need to reduce or extend that date, you simply go to “My Account”, and then click “EDIT” on the posting you wish to modify and change the date in the corresponding field. Once you’ve finished your edits, click “Publish”.

Can I partner a posting that’s “Ended/Expired”?

No. As long as the status of a posting is “Ended/Expired” or “Partnered”, it is no longer available to reserve/partner. If the project sponsor chooses to extend the “Funding By Date” on a particular posting, they do have the ability to edit and re-publish their posting making it available again.

How can I edit or delete one of my postings?

If you need to edit your posting, you simply go to “My Account”, and then click “EDIT” on the posting card you wish to modify. Once you’ve finished your edits, click “Publish”. To delete a posting, please contact support@landtank.com.

What should I include in my postings to get them funded quickly?

Provide as much detail as possible about yourself and the property. Include as many photos and videos as possible. Some investors prefer to see you running through title (vs. notary close) so as to mitigate potential risk for the investor. Do your due diligence and prove it! Include details about how you got your stats for comparable pricing and your title information. In the “miscellaneous” or “story” posting fields, you can also include if you have a marketing plan ready. Always refer to the Land Academy Education programs (CFFL, 1.0, and 2.0) for valuable insights on due diligence and marketing your land.

I’m not a Land Academy member. May I purchase a la carte access to post or partner my land properties?
